Grace Dieu Park Cricket Club is a Leicestershire Cricket Club based behind the Bulls Head pub in the village of Thringstone.

We are proud of the traditions and camaraderie that has developed over its life so far. The backbone of this success is GDPCC's group of dedicated, professional and enthusiastic group of members, who enjoy their time together, both on and off the field.

Saturdays in 2021 1st XI team playing in the league and on Sundays we have the Sunday XI competing in some friendly fixtures against various local clubs. Welcoming Martin Staley as first team captain for 2021.

At the weekend the Club train the thriving Junior Cricket section from as young as 7yr olds to 17yr olds. Matches are played U15 Wednesday, the other age groups on either Friday evenings/Sunday mornings. With the option of winter nets.

2019 saw the introduction of the newest team, the ladies 'Grace Dieuettes' starting the first softball cricket team for the club.  Softball is played every week at training and all are welcome.

This season, the ladies game will progress into the hardball with friendly super8 hardball and introduction to 40 over hardball. Happy to have new members for this inclusive team. All ages, abilities, shapes and sizes welcome. Monday evening training and some Sunday Fixtures.

So, whether you are the serious player looking for matches week-in and week-out, or just a casual 'slogger' looking for an occasional match and to be part of a team, get training, learn new skills - GDPCC is the place for you.

This website has been designed for you, the player. With information on past and future fixtures including teams, results, stats, and running averages, this website allows you to track your performance after each match throughout the whole season.

In line with the ECB guidance on managing the game through the pandemic, we have measures in place for both players and spectators at the ground which we expect all attending our games to adhere to. Please be aware of posters and information at the ground.

We use the website to confirm match availability and notify of team selections, with an automated email system linked to this process. So, welcome again. We look forward to seeing you at the nets and on the pitch soon!!
